For the Love of Dogs

How It All Began

Our love of dogs started over 35 years ago when we had our first Rescue dog, and after that came our passion & love of Dalmatians & Chinese Crested Hairless dogs.

For a few years, we volunteered with Dalmatian Rescue, vetting homes, and fostering Dalmatians (to assess them before they went to their new homes).

Most of our dogs have been from Rescue Organizations, and over the past 35 years, we have fostered (temporarily & permanently) many dogs, including Crossbreeds, Belgian Shepherd, Spaniel, Chinese Crested & Dalmatians, (one of whom was blind from birth), All went on to permanent loving homes.

I have been a trainer at several Dog Obedience Training Clubs in past years, and competed with my dogs Sam & Cid, in Obedience Competitions. I have also shown Cid, one of our Dalmatians, and Lennie, our Chinese Crested, at Breed Shows (including Crufts) in the 1990's.

What It Costs

When you are booking your own holiday, please don't forget about reserving the dates for your dog's holiday at the same time too......we hate to disappoint anyone by having to say we don't have space.

Yes, we are more expensive than kennels, but that is because your pet is NEVER left alone......which means we are unable to do anything socially whilst your dog stays with us 🐾

Meet and Greet

Duration: 1 hour – Free

This is an opportunity for new customers and their dog(s) to visit us, to get to know us, and for us to meet you and your dog(s).

This is a compulsory part of Registration with us, and we cannot accept dogs for Boarding or Daycare before this.

Trial Boarding

A one night (up to 24 hrs) Trial Boarding (after a Meet and Greet has taken place), to see if your dog is happy staying with us - please note: this offer is only for new customers, for the first stay, and cannot be used more than once, and CANNOT be used on Bank Holiday dates.

Trial Daycare

A one day (up to 11 hrs) Trial Daycare (after the Meet and Greet), to see if your dog is happy staying with us - please note: this offer is only for new customers, for the first stay, cannot be used more than once, and CANNOT be used on Bank Holiday dates.

Boarding:

£30 per dog. Owners with more than one dog will get a 15% discount on the total price.

Charges for Dog Boarding are for a 24-hour period. An additional £1 per hour charge will apply for collections outside of a 24-hr time frame on the final day.

We are open between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm, and all drop offs/pick-ups are at pre-arranged times, between 7.30am - 9am and 12 noon - 6.30pm.

All collections must be made before 6.30pm, otherwise dogs will need to stay another night, and owners will be charged accordingly upon return (i.e. flight delays etc), so please check flight times to make sure that you have accounted for this, when booking your dates.

Daycare:

£20 per dog. Owners with more than one dog will get a 15% discount on the total price.

Charges for Daycare are for any period between 7.30am & 6.30pm.

Bank Holiday periods incur a 25% increase.

Charges for Daycare are for up to a 11-hour period, between 7.30am & 6.30pm.

Cancellation Policy

For Boarding:

▪ Full refund or no charge, for full or part cancellations notified to us more than 30 days prior to the start of any Boarding Booking.

For notice of 30 days or less, no refunds will be given, and if the booking has not yet been paid for, full payment will be expected for the relevant booking.

For Daycare:

▪ Full refund up to 12 hours before start.

If payment has not been made in advance, the client will be invoiced for the appropriate amount outstanding
